      After I graduated from junior high school, I studied at Department of Applied Foreign Languages, National Tainan Commercial Vocational Senior High School (NTCVS). I was pleasant to enter this school to let my English be improved a lot. That is, I believed that I could learn lots of knowledge about English here. When I was a freshman, I took notes so hard in class so that I could increase my vocabulary very soon. Afterwards, I took notes of key points. Due to this way, I can understand every setences of textbook fast. I was so lucky to have many kind classmates. I knew not everything was finished by my own because something needed teamwork. And thanks to the professional teachers who volunteered to instruct us, we even did the chorus during the play, which was a quartet with fantastic dancing. During the holidays we came to school doing rehearsals and made the costume and by this creative stage world that I stared to think very seriously that whether it was a dream for me to pursuit. My parents tell me to do what I want but not what I am expected to and this is why I decided to apply myself to the drama department.
     I want to become a stage actress as other companies who have the same ideal.

As far as I am concerned, I think moderate caffeine is good, but too much caffeine would do people harm. First of all, it may cause some physical problems, such as insomnia, nervousness, anxiety, headache, and so on. Furthermore, it may result in nausea or other gastrointestinal problems. That is, maybe those who absorb too much caffeine may want to throw up or have a stomachache. If we have too much caffeine in our body, we will have muscle tremors. According to these reasons, I suggest that people think twice before they drink beverage which contains caffeine. We should protect ourselves from being hurt by caffeine.

I found a job and I had a chance to interview the manager. After talking to the manager, I went home and I discussed the problem whether I should accept this job or not with my parents. This was my first job, so I considered this problem carefully and I decided to adopt this job for some reasons after discussing with my parents.

First of all, I have not been a student since I graduated from school. Afterward, I had to raise myself rather than depend on my parents. Moreover, if I made money by myself, I would be able to buy more expensive goods. That is, I must have money so that I could buy what I wanted. Additionally, I was satisfied with the salary of this job and I didn’t have to wear uniform to work. Most important of all, my parents had become older and older and they can't work in the future. Thus, I wanted to reduce their financial burden, so I need to get a job to earn money. In addition, I wanted to save some money so that I could take advantage of money to let my family go abroad. Thanks to my parents for bringing me up. Finally, I took the job and I worked very hard. I hope that I can earn a lot of money as soon as possible.

     My uncle decided to open a large factory in Acton and he told me this thing. I told him that I had an idea about his decision. As far as I am concerned, I disagreed with this decision for some reasons. One of the reasons was pollution. Although some people considered it a good idea to give opportunities of jobs to residents, I thought that establishing a factory may result in polluted water, harmful air, and industrial noise. These factors had influences on humans’ body. For example, if people breathed dirty air, their health would go from bad to worse gradually. Furthermore, industrial noise could bring about the impact on hearing of people; even it could turn out be hearing impaired. Another reason was the traffic problem. Because of jobs, the town might be crowded by the people’s cars and people. For the reasons above, I objected to this decision. Finally, my uncle didn't establish a factory in Acton after he found another new place which was better to build his factory.

     First of all, the shop's location was 3 miles away from a shopping center that had two large music stores. A large music store could provide customers with many kinds of music while a small music shop only can launch a few kinds of music to clients. Moreover, most of the people living in Fairfax Apartment were at the age of more than forty;these people tend to listen to lyric music rather than hip-hop or rock. Another reason was that  the shop's opening time.The shop only opened from Monday to Friday at 1 to 5 P.M. and people had to work during the week except for Saturday and Sunday, so they would go shopping on the weekend instead of weekdays. That is, customers may not go shopping in the Michael Williams's store during the opening time of the store. If the shopkeeper wanted to make money, he/she should open the store on the weekend.  Last but not the least, that Mr.Willians would not accept checks or credit cards could cause clients to reduce their desires to go into the store and purchase the goods.

     There are two people sent resumes to apply for a new English instructor in my friend's school and my friend ask me for which person that he should choose to hire.I tell him that I think Debra Fines is fit to this job because of several reasons. One of the reasons is that Debra has more education than Lynn. It means that Debra has more knowledge to support his teaching. Another reason is that Debra varies in his teaching experience while Lynn has less teaching experience. Debra has been a consultant and author, an instructor, a teaching assistant, and a swimming teacher. However, Lynn has just been a Spanish teacher, an English teacher, and a peace crops volunteer. Moreover, Debra has gone to three universities for studying, but Lynn only has studying in one college.      Of all the sports, I like swimming and hiking best. First of all, swimming is as healthy as hiking. Next, swimming can promote metabolism; hiking can promote metabolism as well. Furthermore, both of them are able to consume calories and they are helpful to lose weight. Most important of all, swimming doesn’t need any implement on hand. Likewise, I don’t have any implement on hand while I go hiking. Besides, I can go swimming or go hiking whenever I want to do exercise. To sum up, I think that the more I exercise, the healthier I will become. There are a lot of advantages if I do exercise.

One of the men was John Adams, who was an important person in the American Revolution. Similarly, the other person was Thomas Jefferson and he was important in the American Revolution. John Adams had been the President of United States as well as Thomas Jefferson, but John Adams was the second President and Thomas Jefferson was the third President. The former was as a signer of Declaration of Independence as the latter, and the latter was the author of Declaration of Independence as well. John Adams had been delegated to the Continental Congress, which Thomas Jefferson was alike . They were some different. The former was the father of the sixth U.S. president-John Quincy Adams; however, the latter was the foreign minister to France and he founded University of Virginia. He was also philosopher, architect, and inventor. Although they were some difference and some identical ways, they are the important people in history.

     An interesting thing I find is that there are two shirts and both of them are alike. One of the shirts is in the Lourie’s store and the other one is in the Green’s house. The former is machine washable and cotton blend. Likewise, the latter is machine washable and cotton blend. The size of former ranges from 4 to14, which is similar to the latter. And then they have the same color. To my surprise, not only the shirt of Lourie’s but also the shirt of Green’s costs $34.99. They are both the same except of the origin. This is a special thing that I have ever seen.

     My friend and I are looking for a department to live in. One day, I found two advertisements on the Internet. After discussing, we would choose Fairfax Apartments rather than Campus Apts for some reasons. First of all, there are two large bedrooms so that I need not to share a room with my friend. Next, the former is furnished, but the latter is unfurnished. Most important of all, I can live with an air conditioner if I choose Fairfax Apartments. Besides, no pet allowed is good for me because I need a quiet environment to let me focus on my studying. Although the price of Fairfax Apartments is higher than Campus Apts, I can share the rent with my roommate, so it doesn’t matter to me. I hope I can live in Fairfax Apartments.

     I think Debra Fines can be fit to this job because of several reasons. One of the reasons is that Debra has more education than Lynn. It means that Debra has more knowledge to support his teaching. Another reason is that Debra varies in his teaching experience while Lynn has less teaching experience. Debra has been a consultant and author, an instructor, a teaching assistant, and a swimming teacher. However, Lynn has just been a Spanish teacher, an English teacher, and a peace crops volunteer. Moreover, Debra has gone to three universities for studying, but Lynn only has studying in one college. Although Debra doesn’t reap any reward like Lynn does, his resume proved that he is qualified to assume the position. If I am the boss, I will prefer Debra to Lynn.

     I like cloudy days, sunny days, and windy days, except for rainy days. It’s because I have to wear a raincoat or carry an umbrella with me if it should rain. I hate to do so. Rainy days prevent me from donig outdoor activities so it is out of the question for me to like the rainy days. I remembered that I rode a bike to my friend’s house and it rained cats and dogs on the way to my destination two months ago. I didn’t have a raincoat so all my clothes got wet because of rain. After I reached the house of my friend's, Peggy,she lent me her shirt and pants. The day was not my day! I’m in a bad mood only when it is a rainy day. I hate to get wet especially in rainy days. Doing everything in a sunny day makes me happy, but doing what I want to do makes me annoyed in a rainy day. Rainy days are the last things that I would like! A day I'll never forget was that a cockroach climbed up my left leg. My sister drove me to buy lunch on that day. After we ordered the meal, we were waitiing for it. All of a sudden, something happened. I felt unpleasant because I found something climbing up my left leg. To my surprise, I saw many cockroaches runnung all over the place on the ground.I thought the thing on my leg must be a cockroach and I was so scared that I kept jumping to get rid of it;for a while, I saw a part of the cockroach's body dropped. I didn't look at it carefully so I didn't know whether the cockroach's body fell dowm completely. After arriving home, I decided to take a shower . When I took off my pants, something was out of my pants. It was the half of the cockroach's body! I was too frightened to continue my action. Finally, I washed my body thoroughly and I tried to forget this thing. This was the worst day for me.

My father decided to climb out of the car to fight with the monster.He did it but I came up with that he was the driver of the car! If he left, who would control the car? Strangely to say, someone control the car after my father left and the person was me! I couldn’t believe that I can drive before I was eighteen years old. I  had no choice because my father was fighting with the monster. For a while, I heard a loud sound and I learned that my father won! The monster died. Finally, everything was fine as if nothing had happened and we continued our trip. I woke up and I felt so strange that I could remember my dream clearly.
